Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service form an agreement between you and the organization providing the Orbyxa deployment you use (“Orbyxa,” “we,” or “us”). By creating an account or using Orbyxa, you agree to these terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. If you use Orbyxa for an employer or other organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these terms on its behalf.
You must be legally capable of entering this agreement and at least the minimum age required for online services where you live. If a separate signed service agreement covers your use, that agreement controls to the extent it conflicts with these terms.
Accounts and workspaces
Provide accurate account information, keep credentials confidential, and promptly report unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity under your account except to the extent caused by our failure to use reasonable security measures. Workspace administrators may manage access, records, and settings for their organization.
Do not share an account between people. You are responsible for confirming that users, pilots, operators, and uploaded records are associated with the correct workspace and that you have permission to process their information.
What Orbyxa provides
Orbyxa is a flight-record and decision-support application. The current release decodes supported ArduPilot DataFlash .BIN files in the browser, derives flight metrics, displays selected telemetry and route data, supports mission planning and maintenance records, and can synchronize reviewed records and plans to a private workspace. OpenFreeMap, Mapterhorn, and OpenTopoData provide the default live map, 3D terrain, and elevation-profile views; a deployment may alternatively configure Google Maps Platform. Mission interchange includes KML, KMZ, and QGC WPL 110 files.
File formats, parser coverage, calculations, maps, flags, and reports may change as the product evolves. Preview, beta, recovered, or partially decoded results may be incomplete. Keep source logs and any official records required by your organization or regulator.
Flight safety and compliance
Do not use it as the sole basis for a go/no-go, maintenance, regulatory, emergency, navigation, or safety-critical decision.
You remain responsible for safe aircraft operation, qualified personnel, maintenance, recordkeeping, permissions, airspace requirements, and compliance with aviation, privacy, employment, export, and other applicable laws. Parser findings and mission validation are indicators for qualified review, not proof that an aircraft or mission is safe, unsafe, compliant, or non-compliant. Terrain elevation may be interpolated and may omit trees, wires, buildings, temporary obstacles, airspace restrictions, and local hazards.
Your data and generated results
You and your organization retain ownership of the logs, records, and information you submit or create (“Customer Data”). You grant us a limited right to host, process, transmit, and display Customer Data only as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the service, comply with law, and follow your authorized instructions.
You represent that you have the rights and notices required to use Customer Data in Orbyxa, including data about pilots, clients, properties, flight locations, and other individuals. Confirming a new import uploads the exact raw source to authenticated private workspace Storage and may retain an account-scoped browser cache. Saved data can include precise location and telemetry. Local browser quota, storage eviction, cache reset, or clearing site data can remove the cached copy without deleting a completed workspace source. Historical local-only records are not uploaded unless an authorized user explicitly restores and stores the matching source.
You may export available data using product features. You should maintain independent backups of records important to safety, business continuity, or legal compliance.
Acceptable use
You may not use Orbyxa to violate law or another person’s rights; access an account or system without authorization; distribute malware; interfere with service operation; probe or bypass security controls except through an authorized security program; overload the service; misrepresent analysis as an official certification; or upload data you do not have the right to process.
You may not copy, resell, or reverse engineer non-public parts of the service except where applicable law expressly permits it. Reasonable API or automation limits may be enforced to protect reliability and other users.
Availability and third-party services
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation unless a separate service-level agreement says otherwise. Maintenance, internet failures, DNS or proxy errors, Supabase, OpenFreeMap, Mapterhorn, OpenTopoData, Google Maps, hosting incidents, quota limits, and events outside reasonable control may affect availability.
Orbyxa depends on third-party services such as authentication, databases, hosting, email, mapping, elevation, and browser capabilities. Their services may be governed by separate terms and attribution requirements. OpenStreetMap-derived maps, OpenFreeMap tiles, Mapterhorn terrain, OpenTopoData elevations, and any optionally configured Google content remain subject to their respective provider terms. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, and will provide reasonable notice of material reductions where practical.
Disclaimers and limits
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Orbyxa is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy. We do not warrant that parsed results will identify every event, fault, risk, or compliance issue.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or lost profits, revenues, goodwill, or data, arising from these terms or the service. Any aggregate liability cap should be the amount specified in the applicable service agreement; where no separate agreement exists, the cap is the amount you paid for Orbyxa during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
These exclusions do not apply where the law does not allow them, and nothing limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using Orbyxa at any time and may request account deletion. We may restrict or suspend access to protect the service, respond to a security risk or legal requirement, address non-payment under a service agreement, or investigate a material breach. When reasonable, we will give notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue.
After termination, your right to use the service ends. Provisions concerning Customer Data rights, responsibility, disclaimers, liability, and general legal terms survive where their nature requires. Data handling after termination follows the Privacy Policy and any applicable service agreement.
Changes and general terms
We may update these terms to reflect product, legal, or operational changes. The version and effective date above identify the current terms. We will provide additional notice of material changes where required; continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
The governing law, courts, and dispute procedure in a signed service agreement control. If there is no separate agreement, the law and courts applicable to the Orbyxa deployment operator apply, subject to mandatory consumer protections. Neither party may assign this agreement without the other’s consent, except in connection with a merger, reorganization, or sale of substantially all relevant assets.
If one provision is unenforceable, the rest remain effective. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These terms and incorporated policies are the complete agreement for use of the service unless a separate written agreement applies.
Questions may be sent to supabase@rchobbytech.com.
These terms are a product-ready template. The deployment operator should have qualified counsel confirm its legal identity, commercial terms, liability cap, governing law, and contact details before public launch.
